The Tenth Michigan Infantry is a statewide Civil War commemorative organization and Michigan Non-Profit corporation. They are one of the oldest reenactment units in the state of Michigan having been created on February 13, 1976, for the United States Bicentennial. Now in their 47th year of continuous operation, the Tenth Michigan prides itself on persevering the heritage of those who have gone before and becoming positive role models for today’s young people. The gentleman member of the Tenth Michigan portrays the Federal Infantry Soldier circa 1863 while the ladies perform a variety of civilian roles and portrayals. New members are currently wanted. Interested persons are invited to stop by our HeadQuarters tent for additional information.
